Mobil™ slideway oils are premium CGLP lubricants (DIN 51502) for the lubrication of slideway systems in machine tools. They are characterised in particular by a high load-bearing capacity and an excellent separation of water and water-miscible coolants. This extends coolant service life and effectively minimises cross-contamination. Mobil™ slideway oils’ innovative additive system offers excellent wear protection with optimised frictional properties for a wide range of material pairings, including steel on steel and steel on polymer. This prevents stick-slip and ensures smooth and consistent movement at all design speeds.
